Valencia CF has reached an agreement for the signing of Guido Rodríguez.
After representing Valencia CF during the second half of last season, the Argentine midfielder (12 April 1994) has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Club for the next two seasons, until 2028, with an option to extend for a further season.
A FIFA World Cup winner with Argentina in 2022 and a two-time Copa América champion, Guido Rodríguez has proven himself to be a player of the highest competitive level, with extensive experience and the ability to exert a decisive influence in midfield.
In the 17 matches he played under head coach Carlos Corberán, he scored four goals and established himself as a key figure in the team, bringing personality, balance and consistency. His contributions at both ends of the pitch played an important role in improving the team's performances and results during the second half of the campaign.
The Argentine returns to Mestalla to wear the Valencia CF jersey once again, embarking on a new chapter in a distinguished professional career that has seen him make more than 400 appearances at the highest level for West Ham United, Real Betis, Club América, Club Tijuana, River Plate, Defensa y Justicia, as well as the Argentina national team.
